Only one way to stop this shit and that's vote with your feet and your wallet.

Don't go and don't pay them anything.

Though we've seen since 2005 that aint gonna happen.

Now, who's setting up fightfromwithin.com ?

There may not be one for us to play in. Without these clubs Uefa aren't going to get the telly money they want.

Some talk this is due to actually start next season.

I think Raiola is somehow involved. He hates fifa/uefa and has been on a tour of top clubs recently.

Don’t know what you’re on about

This needs to be stopped and the only way to do that is for all the governing bodies involved to go with the nuclear option

Absolutely incredible. Real Madrid, the club who have their name etched deepest on that trophy won't be in it any more.

UEFA must be absolutely bricking themselves here

These clubs have thrown their cards on the table and called UEFA's bluff.

I think the stupid expansion of the cl prompted this. I'm 100% against a super league but also £#%&! the europa and the champions league expanding.

Get rid of the europa and bring back the cup winners cup imo.

I just don't think it's going to work. It's an american way of thinking about sports and we don't think that way.

no they don't deserve any applaud and no salute they would just have killed the frankenstein monster they created years ago with lack of fit and proper tests. I do recall reading some reports when Glazers bought United in 2005 and in the manner they did that some of the other NFL ownersat the time were blaffed that they managed to pull it all of considering the super stright ownership rules in NFL.

Is it really? In the league the gap between teams that regularly compete in the Champions League and the rest huge, you've got half the teams just happy to stay up so they can get their share of next seasons TV revenue. In the Champions League the same eight or so teams are guaranteed to have most of the quarter final spots year in year out. It's a freak season when a four time winner like Ajax even make it that far.

The top two tournaments were already low jeopardy, now the fig leaf of equality has been stripped away. It's a major move away from sporting merit but it beats the slow death by finances that was being inflicted on football.
