He barely scored for the whole of the second half of last season so even at £7m it's a bit of a gamble. Especially with the Torres situation - if he's supposedly so low on confidence, how is this going to help him? Plus it makes the Benitez appointment even stranger.
That said, he is better than Sturridge so in that sense they have strengthened. |

On Current form, he is better than Torres. And yes, i agree, he will score 20 goals, but in total, and not only for Chelsea.
