Iíd imagine itís a threat to try and force UEFA to make sure the reform suits them.

That's almost certainly what it is. They've been doing it for 20 years and it works every time.

The aboliton of Cup Winners Cup continues to rears it ugly head.

But this is most unsurprising news story of the year.

Anyone who think this is a good Idea is living in cuckoo crazy land with that said the expanded 36 team group stage CL doesn't sound much better eather.

The 32 teams group stage CL is too big already and needs to be slimmed down to what it was pre 2000.

Didn't cricket try something similar not so long ago and it didn't work out all that well for cricket?

Absolute f***ing rubbish. The greed is just never ending.

All that will happen is teams stop giving a f*** about domestic leagues because you donít have to qualify for it.
