This thread is a shambles.

He's still being touted around though, I'd snap Real's £#%&!ing arm off if he was available. He's been magnificent this year.

I am happy at Madrid. I had a great season and always had everybody's support. But sometimes you don't have a choice, even when you want to stay yourself.

Yes, I'd like to have less to worry about this year, to know what's going to happen with me and my family. Especially for them, my wife and daughter; if I have to leave with moving and all that... What I want to know is if I'm going to stay or not. Things keep being said and I hope to be able to concentrate on the World Cup.

They would be crazy to sell him, but this is Real Madrid and they are £#%&!ing mental.

He's been outstanding this season, and alongside Modric he's emerged as an integral part of how they play.

I reckon he'll have a superb World Cup with the Argies and Madrid will tie him down to a new contract straight after.

Angel Di Maria has been close to leaving Real Madrid for around a year. The Spanish club have been looking for buyers and Di Maria's excellent end to the season doesn't appear to have saved him from being ushered toward the exit. Whilst a transfer has been the club's idea for longer than it has been the plan of Di Maria himself, Marca explain on Tuesday that he's laying the ground for an exit too.

They cite a recent interview in which the Argentine international said he wasn't sure if he'd still be at Real Madrid next season and had the temerity to say Lionel Messi is without doubt the best player in the world. Marca think that's forbidden territory for a team mate of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United have been repeatedly linked with a move for the player and Marca name Louis van Gaal's side again in this latest article. They say that Manchester United want the player and that Real Madrid would be willing to sell him. However, the price is set at £40m, which sounds a little on the high side considering Real Madrid are keen on a sale.
