Traditional for August tbf. We're just figuring out who our scapegoats are going to be for the season. Martial and Rashford were all set for the role until they kept scoring/assisting. So Mata/Shaw/Lingard now taking up the slack

They're only on probation .

Fail to score in the first five minutes against Palace and the villagers will be sharpening their pitchforks

When we bought him I really did think we were getting a superstar in his prime. Never really dominated for us like he did there.

Fair enough

If Sanchez doesn't get his move then those lads should get an extended break.

Benitez used him to spring the counter attack. Everything went through him that season iirc. Set pieces were more on-point too.

If this lad had any self respect at all he'd do a Gary Neville and retire.

He'll continue posting his blogs saying the fans deserve better which he's been doing since he joined, whilst spectators stuck in 2012 continue to gush over his penetrating 1m sideways passes and 1mph top speed.

I find it fascinating. Almost like a weird social experiment.

Just how long can you play someone completely incapable of playing football before anyone realises?

Evidently, it's a very long time.

Thought he played ok in spots.

Well, one spot, where him and Perreira performed some drawn out link up play that resulted in a shot on target.

I'm guessing he was kept on as a mentor for the younger lads. Somebody who has actually won medals. Shame we had to start him today but it shouldn't happen all that often.

Yeah, he surely wouldn't be a regular starter with everybody available.

No, I always held him not being very good, and not being good for United against him and had no problem with him the bloke, now I just hate him.

Honestly don’t think he’d get a game for any other club in england tbh.
