Precisely.

Just as Clough said about Leeds half a century ago, everything city have won has been achieved by cheating.

Even they know it, deep down.

Please can we try and maintain higher levels of snide? Me, Hyman, esters, bunks, duckers and BDE Chris have been working overtime lately but we can’t do it 24/7. Thanks.

the only idiotic take was you stating that you weren't sure there is anyone more stupid than the good doctor. it doesn't mean that I think villa have as good as sealed cl. they haven't. you, however, are an idiot. an impotently raging idiot, at that.

Anyway, what has been striking about Arsenal this season is how few results they have had like that one.

How they react to this will determine their season.

Not sure what hurts more: being on Larry’s ignore list, or being SHOWN I’m on Larry’s ignore list

I was working on the assumption that 5th gets CL. Different story if it doesn’t, ofcourse. Thought that was fairly obvious, but then Larry came flying in with his studs up so I just left it that.

It’s an impressive scoreline and a huge result for them, so can’t really begrudge their celebration imo

It doesn't matter how they react now. They're two points behind City who will win the next 6 games and win the league.

Arsenal will drop plenty more points. It's done.

They knew it, and that was the problem.

I think there's a balance to be struck between rigid, patterns of attack and letting talented players express themselves.

Arsenal were completely stifled in that 2nd half, firstly because of very good defending by Villa and secondly by their own reluctance to just have a shot, get a cross in or do something that wasn't what Arteta had drilled into them.

You look at City and yes they grind teams down with their patterns and passing and what not. But when that's not working Kevin De Bruyne will just smash one in from 30 yards or Foden drills one in the top corner. Arsenal to me, looked like they were over thinking everything.
