If Ole didn't want to play him we're saving 175k per week and it opens up a slot in the squad...why would anyone complain?
He’s not halfway out of the door, he will come back a year older and be even harder to shift. His legs have gone, he would struggle to impress in the Scottish league and he won’t have teams lining up after embarrassing himself in Italy for a season. Only we could fail to give away our players.

He will come back slower and older. Plus we will be paying him £6 million a year to play for another team. Let that sink in.

he's not going to get any quicker walking his dogs and watching TV - we're not going to play him so we're saving what - 8 million quid?

no pay or goal bonuses either.

If he's that shit then why would we want to keep him and not let him go out on loan

Could easily see him doing well enough at Inter to get them to do a permanent deal next Summer

Not sure why anyone is bothered, it's not like we're losing anything as he's brought nothing to the table since he signed

Would rather give Greenwood minutes up front as it's an investment in the future even if he isn't able to perform to the level required yet

I don’t want to keep him, I want him sold and don’t want to have to go through this %@#$&!s again next summer.

As for Greenwood, he is 17. Under Fergie he wouldn’t have been a squad player, he would have been someone with fewer minutes than a rotation player. For the amount of games he will likely get this season we risk stunting his development not to mention over burdening a kid because we are incapable of identifying and securing players to improve the squad.

Yep, managing to shift, albeit a loan, one of the worst purchases in premier league history and rid the team of a poisonous presence. No getting up from that.
