Not a chance - but don’t rely on him - make him an option but not essential. We need a more reliable striker and have done for years.

Has to be one of the thickest footballers out there and totally incapable of leading the line

This was his time to come through . He hasn't and won't .

Times up

Would rather us play Lee Grant as a centre forward than see this absolute fraud play another minute.

He’s shite and needs replacing.

Shite tonight.

Unless we sign someone in the next few days he is going to have had a full season where he wants to play and with his fav number, no excuses.

Ok one small excuse his pal pogbas been missing and now rashford but still he needs to do more.

Still hope. It must be pretty disheartening playing with Jesse.

He's not a number 9 though really is he? A number 9 needs some heart.

He's getting worse by the match.

He’ll keep getting by with the odd top quality performance, but it’s way too infrequent and inconsistent from the centre forward of a team that hopes to challenge. We need to stop being swayed by individual games.

Quite fitting that at a time when we really needed him to step up, he’s put in a few of his worst performances ever.

Still think he has something to offer in the right system, but it’s abundantly clear he’s never going to be able to lead the attack for us. Continually found everywhere but the £#%&!ing box

But yeah, I think Sulky Tony is trying nearly everybody's patience at the minute.

That's £#%&!ing annoying, Rashford was doing the same when he played up top too.

Must be difficult when you're the only forward on the pitch and there's nobody anywhere near you most of the time. Tend to find they drop off looking to get involved because nobody gets the ball into them when they're up top as well, due to the lack of quality. When Rashford and Martial play it's a different game for the pair of them, either on their own and they look a bit blunt. We're desperate for more options up there.

I don’t think either have the instincts of a 9.

Probably not, both can do it, it's not their natural game and they aren't consistent with it as a result.
