Was there

Got a lift via a friend of a friend off a couple of lads from Stretford, seemed decent lads

Parked up near the ground, before we got out of the car the lad in the passenger seat started messing with some tinfoil

I thought he’d brought a packed lunch with him, but no, he starts “chasing the dragon” and then passes it to the driver…..who then offers it to me and my mate

Politely refused, and got the train back home

Both dead now I believe

Old English football was £#%&! eh. First 10 minutes don’t think there’s more than three passes strung together. Launched, head tennis , misplaced passes… some good crunching tackles like.

You’re right. Would much rather have today’s tippy-tappy side to side and don’t touch me or I’ll squeal. Don’t want to risk any excitement in the audience. They might start singing nasty songs ….

At that one. Second row.

£#%&!ing coppers decided to camp on the touchline right in front of us.
Seemed like every other £#%&!er apart from our section got on the pitch after

Behind the goal at that one. Three takeaways:

1. Norman frightening for a 17 year old
2. Wish we had a Remi Moses now
3. Goalkeepers used to catch the ball
