The problem is, in the old days students studied under masters, learning their craft for 20-30 years and all they did was work on the human form. Nowadays they go to art college and sculpt blocks in geometric form and title it 'the desperation and futility of a perpendicular existence'. Along comes someone with a big fat cheque and asks them to do someone famous and they'll be like 'well I'll give it a go'.
