We may have been in contact, but we are to 'begin negotiations' soon. Not exactly swift work is it?

Yeah. Let's hope he agrees to £9m per year with a 25% increase per annum.

I would have to seriously think about it to be honest.

exactly, how the £#%&! can we not have agreed a fee in the last few months?

They knew Ronnie was going, and waited until we are loaded & will sting us for £20m.

Nah, Whelan has and always sucks Fergies dick.

He'l move for £16mil and then prob around £4mil worth of add-ons should we win x amount of trophies etc.

I've never seen him play other than against us so i've not a £#%&!ing clue what he's like but i presume he is'nt a dud as Real wanted him too.

Did'nt the murderers want him aswel?

They were linked with him, dont think he fits into the Benitez style though

Fergie's meant to have watched him (or sent somebody) all last season to watch him, so i'm sure he knows what he's actually getting.

If he signed for that fat spanish @#%&!, he'd play at left back till xmas then be sold back to Wigan for 3meat pies and a JJB sports voucher.

No, it just all seems £#%&!ing absurd to me. As it did last summer waiting until the last day of the transfer window to actually agree anything on Berbatov having had 3 months to do business.

Just a bit shit, really.

Not really that funny. He has money to spend there and was linked with a bid for Valencia as soon as he took the job.
