I assume to stop people taking a year off as they know it isn't dead mans shoes anymore.

There is now an extra "benefit" in not doing that.

Maybe?

so what's the point in this reclassification? do time-served reds get more of a chance in away ballots? if so, that's a good thing, no?

rang them earlier to see what all this shit was about, the gobshite on the phone had no idea about "top red" or "bottom red" levels.

i asked him if he knew about the renewals booklet, said no.

asked if he went on red cafe, he said no cos we dont get many breaks

asked if he'd seen the real girls thread, said "i'll pass you to my manager"

hung up

If you would have told the 15 year old me that I wouldn't give a toss about having a season ticket and that it had got to the point where any old #@&%! had one I would have been shocked.

Looks like I'm renewing but sharing it with two mates and their lads.

Bit of a reaction amongst my red mates to City winning it last year. A need to reinforce the red credentials of our offspring as there is serious competition amongst the blue @#%&!s now. Half my lad's class are now blues.

Can't say I'm thrilled at the prospect of going tbh - OT was by and large shite last season and the footy was dull (apart from the start of the season) but the boy enjoys going and I enjoy going with him.

Half hearted reds we are here woohoo.

i know how you feel...

i've just renewed, but it's more out of habit than being excited about being there to support the reds. i've got no doubt that part of that makes me a spoilt bastard for not being as arsed, but the lack of investment in the team and the tourists get to every man one day.

that said, my lad is 2 in august so it won't be long (couple of years or so) before i start taking him and i know that his excitement will make it all worth it again

however, football is £#%&!ed, and i think the whole of Europe is going to realise that in the next month with what will happen in Poland & Ukraine.

I don't think England getting knocked out early and the potential for crowd trouble has any bearing on the overall health of the game tbh.
