tough one but you can't leave Evans out on current form so Evans and Rio or Vidic but on Saturday it will be Rio and Vida as Evans is injured

Rio and Smalling are the best choice atm. Not sure how anyone can pick Vidic, after being out for over a year with a couple of serious injuries.

Ideally, Evans and Smalling can become a long term partnership at the back, but I'd love United to bring in Hummels in the summer. Evans talent has never been in question, but his decision making and concentration leave a lot to be desired at times.

Now - Rio and Vidic.

In 2 years - Smalling and Jones.

Now Rio and Vidic. In two years Evans and Mertesacker.

If Evans had stayed on the field on Sunday the Taches wouldn't have been anywhere near us, thought Rio was very good on Sunday too

This should be Rio's last season.

From next it'll be Vidic and Evans/Smalling.

Rio/Smalling

Donaghy/Hysen

Rio & Evans, Vidic in for Rio if he ever gets fit.

Evans & Smalling eventually.

rio still has the head to make it look easy, but not the legs against the best. vidic, if fit, is the obvious choice. smalling has been excellent since he joined.

I'm glad we had evans as cover, but he is a gormless @#%&! waiting for a £#%&!-up.

jones has looked a total £#%&!ing rabbit. there is no sign he will be a good centre half. he needs a lot of £#%&!ing work. then he'll be world class. right now, he's just a £#%&!ing rabbit.

Evans is our best defender the fact you cannot see this makes him even better
