Here's hoping, as I along with most like-minded reds have been pissed-off with trying to compete in the transfer market with one hand tied behind their back's & constantly sending promising youngsters out on loan all the time instead of encouraging them to challange the first-team places of whoever happens to occupy those starting 11 places at any given-time & that is another reason why the attitude amoung the 1st team squard between, Moyes-Rangneck era's was so crap, as those players knew full-well that nodody was pushing to take their place, so they felt they could get away with playing crap on a regular basis!

Love all these tours and front runners and the Glazers not ‘warming’ to Ratcliffe…:like it’s anything other than them just giving it to the highest bidder. Which will be Qatar.

The Qatari reps were in talks for ten hours apparently. Big Jim is committing to twelve hours.

I honestly can't see the Qataris not being successful given they appear to be extremely serious about getting it done. The MD of Bank of America doesn't turn up in person to a meeting like that if they don't intend to do a deal. I don't particularly want that to happen but it feels inevitable.

Never heard of him but seen this Update from Ben Jacobs

. Not everyone in the group will become direct #MUFC staff. Some will be stay affiliated to the parent company. But there will be some "best in class" #MUFC appointments and the group will assess the existing leadership they inherit.

The Nine Two Foundation will not expand beyond Manchester, though, like QSI. It's been solely formed to buy #MUFC and for other Manchester-based projects.

So Shahbaz is important because he's expected to be a bit more day-to-day than Sheikh Jassim if the bid is successful. Sheikh Jassim will be highly engaged, and ambitious, but told he'll still rely on advisors for daily and strategic input.

Overall, Nine Two Foundation want to build, as one source put it, "The best bench in football administration and expertise". This will include "experienced current and former #MUFC people of history and influence". There may be ex-players involved, too.

A number of legends already connected to #MUFC have an appetite to get involved (multiple groups have tried) but are waiting to see how the process evolves, and who becomes preferred bidder, before necessarily backing a specific group

Bank Of America has hundreds of managing directors, literally. It means absolutely £#%&! all that this guy was there. If you google him, all of the results are just todays story.

“Bloomberg) -- Bank of America Corp. elevated 314 executives to managing directors across the company, welcoming in one of the most diverse classes in the bank’s history, according to people with knowledge of the matter”

I did not know that. The reports had framed him as "the" MD. Anyway given the Glazers are first and foremost greedy £#%&!ers I'm sure it doesn't matter to them who rocks up. All they care about is the highest offer. Which again suggests Qatar.
