He should have been let go in the summer.

It is very simple, as it always was. ETH wants to play expansive, possession based football far up the pitch. You cannot do that with a 37 year old who cannot press. You also cannot do that without a pacy centre back who can bring the ball out from the back and organise the team in transition. Ronaldo & Varane the two most important impacts on the way we play, for very different reasons ..

If a player jumps into someone full weights out of control it’s a foul and probably a red card. Why can a goalkeeper just hurl himself fell speed at an attacker’s head?
