It's the best chance they've got of actually winning a trophy this season, Liverpool resting a few players with a big game against arsenal at the weekend... and west ham have turned up, dropped a load of players, had zero shots about 60 mins into the game and are quite content to just lose and move on so they can focus on what? Finishing mid table?
