Thought the rule was nothing from the fielder touching the rope or ground beyond the rope while in contact with the ball. I'm sure there's been plenty that have jumped back, knocked the ball back, landed beyond the rope then come back into to play to catch..
As I say, it was introduced in (I think) 2017

Have to admit when I saw him hit the deck looking dizzy I didn't think "hur hur hur he got it in the nuts", I thought "Phil Hughes". Once I saw he got it in the nuts though, hur hur hur.

Saw some of that earlier. Finch is a real top player to watch when he's on his game in LO cricket. Think he's deluded about getting another crack at test cricket though.

Maybe so, but captaincy seems to have matured him.

I know he was very well liked by the other players when he was at Yorkshire
