So, you didn't want to win the game then? Once players take the field it doesn't matter what you're playing for.

Yep.

Memphis, what's to be done. Will need games to get confidence back but can't justify his place. £#%&!ing mess.

We have to be one of the worst clubs for taking penalties.

Absolutely shambles. Experienced players looking timid and tame.

Meanwhile, Nugent aside, Boro just looked relaxed and smashed them home. And one of theirs was a centre half.

Boro deserved their bit of luck and deserved to get through.

So glad the draw opened up for us with Arsenal and Chelsea going out.

Of course. I'm surprised we got one. The reason we didn't win this game 5-0 is because we have no confidence, you can see that in flashing £#%&!ing neon the way we play. What do you think that means for penalties? No chance, that's what it means.

Shame.

Not got the squad for it; might be a blessing for rest of the season.

Less games to watch I suppose.

Yeah, tough one. I suppose he's going to have to play as there's no £#%&!er else, just have to hope he can get through this spell and find some confidence/form.

Not even the worst match I've seen under Van Gaal. Pretty much all our cup games last year were worse.

I agree, tonight was his chance to impress and he barely seemed to know what a football was :shakehead:
