Making a caretaker permanent wouldn’t work. The whole dynamic changes. Fans, players and manager all change when the job becomes permenant as opposed to caretaker.

What it should do if he does well is get him a premier league job and put him top of the list if the next manager fails.

I think he would. But he'd probably want her fired two weeks later for enjoying a different chocolate someone else got her.
