Delighted for him.

Had a superb season after being shit for the previous couple.

Let's hope he now pushes on and does it again or Suffolk may very well rear it's ugly head again...

Good bit of news. He had a very good season last year and now he has a platform to raise his game further and build upon it.

Either that or Ipswich are going to have to pay some big bucks for him. Win-Win

Hopefully he stops doing that thing where he gives up when he gets a minor knock.

Maybe there was some substance behind the PSG rumors. Playing like someone who doesn't want to be here. Hopefully finds his spark on the left again soon.

He signed a new contract until 2028 last month, having had a year left on his deal. Seems a daft thing to do if he doesn't want to be here.

Proved a point last season, got his contract and appears to have switched off again.

That said, he isn’t a striker and it’s wrong that we start a new season with him there.

And tbf it wasn't the intention, but the person we meant to have in that position is unavailable.

He didn't sign an extension for a 50p bump a week.

All of this.

Should only ever be played on the left

Rashford will be absolutely fine once he's playing in his natural position on the left of a front 3.

He clearly isn't comfortable in the centre-forward role, and has said as much. He's one of the most effective attackers in Europe from the left.

He's the least of our (many) problems.

I’d rather see Sancho as a false 9 than Rashford bang up top again.

Should sell him for as much as we can get. Purple patch last season, won’t replicate that form.

Still no excuse for the lack of effort. He is a nothing player.

100%

Will be on fire once he is played on the left and the Ipswich rumours have been put to bed.

And that's why we are in the position we are, accepting mediocrity.

It’s the slapped arse thing that I can’t take. He’s the highest paid player at the club (I’m guessing). He needs to stand up and have a proper go at it regardless of where he’s playing or whether it’s going well for him. Show some £#%&!ing metal. Not everything has to be perfect for him to put in the effort.

Yes, this. Wayne Rooney spent most of his career catering for other players in less favourable positions.
