Exclamation Evra time, we say goodbye...

Now of course, this is probably just the agent trying to make his money, and fair enough to Paddy, the mad bastard, I love him, for wanting to get a rise for the remainder of his career.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo....html?ITO=1490

The question is - do you think we should pay more and keep him, or is it time to unleash the second twin to a full time berth in the first X1. Or can we somehow do both ????

Personally I would love to keep Evra, but at the same time want to see Fabio given his shot (and actually think Fabio will be more dangerous coming forward than Patrice).....I am so confused. I don't know what I should be thinking

Wonder how much we could get for him? He's one that when he loses a yard of pace it's going to be really really noticeable, doubt that will be for a few years yet but food for thought.

I do Love mad Pat though.

Love Evra, for me he's the best left back in the world. If Alves is worth £25m then Evra must be worth the same.

Wouldn't be surprised if the club cashed in. He's never going to be worth more than he is now. We have Fabio who looks competent and we could sign a backup for little more than £5m.

Would hate to see him go but I'm almost expecting it tbh.

He's gonna stay, just like Vidic did.

i guess if you remove passing, crossing and scoring from the equation you might be right.

Yup and just like Rooney that means he's leaving. In fact I hope Evra doesn't sign a new contract as I want him to stay.

30 in the summer, got a few years left in the tank & you'd imagine approaching contract negotiations...

meh.

Got to love him. We need to rest him more though, got utterly knackered in the last few seasons.

Emphasises the need for Bale.

Get Bale in now to learn from Giggs and be phased in to replace Evra in a couple of years.

Bale and Fabio on the left, Raphael and Big Tony on the right - Nanners, Little Pea and Andy Carroll up the middle and we'll dominate Europe for years to come.

I don't like the sound of this carroll for rooney idea.

robbie brady is better than bale.

Bale isn't a fullback.
