Don't see the point of signing another playmakery 10 type, are we trying to be late stage Wenger's Arsenal?

I would be tempted to agree but not when it comes to this fella.

His ability, control of the ball and passing are ridiculous.

He's not slow either, he's not usain bolt but he's quite quick.

I hope he plays like Luke Chadwick in the remaining champions league games.

Madrid don't need him but if he's sensational they may buy him anyway like they did with James Rodriguez.

that's the main issue with these Monaco players tbh - they've been so eye catching that every big team is going to be interested. remember in 2009 when everyone said "oh madrid have signed Kaka, they won't go after ronaldo now..."

I still fully expect Madrid and Barcelona, maybe even Bayern, to take their pick of the best ones... The fact that Barcelona especially are going to be having big rebuild with a new manager doesn't bode well for anyone else wanting to buy this summer.

If United sign any of them I'll be surprised.

Remember Southampton at home ?

I also think one of his greatest skills is striding past opponents with the ball which if used at the right times and not the wrong times ie when there are good padding options available could be potentially devastating from deep.
Thought that was somehow connected to the shadow zone

Silva is the best of the Monaco group in my opinion.

The ability to dribble past multiple men is absolute gold dust for the space it creates for team mates and he has such great vision to take advantage of the space created as well.

It's clutching at straws but I wonder if Mourinho being Portuguese may help us here?

They're not renowned for commenting on anything & everything though, like L'Equipe.

Believe they announced the Martial deal first. Just supposed to be well connected at Monaco.

Can't make an omelette & all that.

United players need pace frankly.

He's a smashing player, but there are upgrades to our style.
