Is Jem TFM's dad or is it just a heavy crush?

the problem is we are largely keeping the same underperforming squad.

this summer 2/3 of the following should have been sold/moved on and replaced

mata
martial
lingard
felani
carrick
ashley young

if we keep the same squad expect the same result.

he is cute, isn't he?

gosh, browser and throb (say they) have me on ignore.

telling the forum you have someone on ignore is a bit like waking up with a massive dick marker penned on your face, but still.... there's no accounting for taste.

Can't imagine putting anyone on ignore tbh, kind of defeats the point of logging on a forum. Unless they're being extremely abusive or don't rate Herrera, obvs.

No because they quite obviously were good enough because they won the treble.

There were plenty of players nowhere near as good as some listed. I know it's different periods but squads aren't made up completely of Sparky Favs. Or you gonna pretend that some of the shite about then was actually quality?

TFM is going to be a very good player.

He's not there yet, but throwing him out would be a mistake. He needs game time to develop

Squad players? These tossers have been regular starters for 2 years

You can get away with some 'not good enough's' if the rest of the squad are top quality. We had a lot of quality -both technically and mentally- in '99 and '08.

... and we've been buying for the first team and will continue to do so. Don't get why you'd want to sell decent quality as they're about to be relegated to squad status, how many of the first XI will they make next season?

the treble team had the best midfield in the world. arguably, the best four players in each of the four positions. and four strikers better than anyone we have currently. and the best goalkeeper in the world. and some decent defenders. the resemblance to our current squad stretches as far as de gea.
