Even when we make a good decision, we have to implement it in the most inept way imaginable.

Presumably they offered him the job did some negotiations he accepted and then they submitted the work permit application.

Doesn't seem that they've £#%&!ed it up?

oh well, league campaign is dead now anyway. probably won't make much difference putting off rangnick's arrival for a game or two more.

State of this

By the time he finally comes his contract would have run out ffs.
I reckon they’ll sort it this week and he’ll be in for Palace. Hardly surprising and we deserve it for the piss-poor timing of the Ole sacking. We had two weeks to do it and instead we’ve chosen a spell where we have 4 games in 10 days, including CL, Chelsea and Arsenal

dragged out the inevitable for weeks and £#%&!ing weeks. Idiots.

Made sure the league campaign was well and truly £#%&!ing napalmed and then they sack him.

It’s a good job Watford rattled on goals 3 and 4 because I honestly think he’s still be here if we’d lost 2-1.

Of course he would....

Is what it is, we needed a change.

Viva Carrick...

We needed a change, and quite clearly, long before the Watford game.

I don’t mind carrick in charge for Thursday, he’s done well the last week, but it’s just another example of what dicks we are and how badly we’ve handled this,

Not really, changing managers mid season isn't easy ....the logistics of it, for starters....

Watford 3,4 forced their hands....

Ralf's in the UK. Even without his permit, surely he'll be quietly involved.

That’s the point though: it isn’t easy when you’re doing it now, no, so they should have done it after City. Watford didn’t tell us anything we didn’t already know and hadn’t been calling for already. What they hoped to learn from that, I’ve no idea.

Still, it’s done now. I don’t think we have any better or worse chance of beating Arsenal tomorrow without Rangnick.

Might have his fingerprints all over Thursday....

Not sure how that works with a permit etc....

Hope he's in a laundry bin at old Trafford

Surely if he isn’t paid for a week he isn’t doing anything wrong. Can’t he volunteer or do a “work experience shadowing carrick” it’s not his fault if the players listen to him.

Or just give him day long tours at carrington, he has a freedom to say what he wants , if the players just so happen to listen to it so be it.

He must be here on some visa I’m sure it doesn’t restrict him to visit places, just give him day long tours of carrington and OT and don’t pay him for a week.
