Leicester are huge in thailand

Remember getting bskyb back when it came out few channels and ray cokes the music presenter

Huge is an overstatement .Nothing comes close to Utd and Liverpool in terms of support.Chelsea come in a long way back in third which is probably more to do with their old shirt sponsor Samsung plastering half of Thailands billboards with team photos.Many Thais saw them as the Samsung works team and Thais love Samsung

Optus have had the rights in Oz after they outbid FoxSport (Sky) so looks like the PL selling to the highest bidder. They also have the CL this season (bein previously)

Good point. I think though that all international production is managed by a company called Premier League Productions, part of IMG. Would imagine they pay a fee to the host broadcaster of a specific game (or maybe there is some contractual deal for joint ownership of all live images between PL and broadcasters).

They also make all those magazine type shows you get before games in overseas markets - player profiles, interviews, etc.
