It’s a bit of everything: bottle, city’s relentlessness, their own inexperience and punching above their weight. I feel like we’ve seen their true level this second half of the season. They built their lead through a lot of piss and vinegar. They hadn’t developed into a title winning team. Their rush to the top of the league came out of absolutely nowhere. They were never equipped to handle a title run in.

They’re barely a top four side. They’ve done extremely well just to finish second.

Have the BBC actually grown some %@#$&!s? This is one of the main stories on the front page of the website, went up minutes after they won the league. Blues crying about it all over the shop

There is just no way you can be innocent when it’s over 100 charges ffs.

The fawning from ex pros over them is absolutely putrid, the neck on some of them to compare the 2 (potential) trebles in City’s favour when theirs is built upon hoodwinking the authorities, absolute gutter press.

Thing that I don’t get. Ok they have no fans, and seats are empty at their stadium. But they still average 30-40k seats a game.

How come people I’m their hundreds only turn up for these things? You’d think atleast 20-30% of the match going fans would turn up

They’re won’t innocent. They broke uefa rules a few years before were banned and only got over turned because of time constraints or something .

Maybe they’re waiting for the off-season to release and charge, I don’t know, I remember when the news broke out first there was a report it that it may take years to actually convict them.

The real stupid thing is that not a single journalist is running with it. I get you can’t accuse without evidence and just make claims but there is a fact that they’ve been charged with over 100 incidents of rule breaking . They can atleast state that as face when in the studio.

£#%&! stains the lot of them. Including the pundits from our club

Pundits are not gonna get involved ffs. Football people aren’t usually the most sophisticated thinkers at the best of times. But tbf even if they were, their line is we’re football experts not financial, regulation ones. They look at the 11/22 on the pitch and assess how they’ve played. Comparisons with past players and teams and forecast how they’ll fare. They’re not gonna go deeper than that.

Can picture Micah and Roy ‘yeah great assist from Kevin but I do wonder what we’d be watching if old Ferran hadn’t trodden roughshod over rule 13.3.3 which states quite clearly that a players wages must be within 5% of the revenue garnered from gate receipts minus the Vat and the scrote levy on steak bakes. ‘

A “high end” journalist. Or a football/sports one. My main gripe is it’s not being called out on the big sports channels.

We have that time waster from sky sports saying “Man Utd may be sold today tomorrow or the week after to Ratcliffe or Qataris or someone else”

Every few weeks but nothing about Man City breaking the rules apart from the initial release a few months back.

BBC is a start but it needs to be front page , or atleast front page of their sports page. Same with sky sports.

Problem is the bigger public don’t care. I’ve just been on the sky sports site and their top story is charagher saying something about arteta and the league

They don’t need to get involved just state the facts. Man City have become champions on the back end of a few months ago being charged by the premier league by over 100 charges. That’s all. No accusing them of anything new, it’s just facts

So you don’t mean pundits then you mean presenters/newsreaders?

State of the send off for Firmino for Liverpool. They’ve painted a mural of him and his stupid Gilbert Gottfried face.

You’d think the guy was Dalglish, Rush and Gerrard rolled into one with the reaction.

They really think this current Klopp crop is a team for the ages, rather than the nuisance to City’s dominance that they actually are.

Even we’ve finished above them two of the last three seasons and we’re a £#%&!ing mess.

They’re doing all these pompous send offs to diguise what an awful season they’ve had.

Firmino was average-to-poor for most of his time there. In and out of team for past 2/3 seasons. Reinvention of his ability.

Not many of that peak Klopp team left now. City served a purpose as without their financially-doped 100 pt teams Liverpool would be on a few more titles. Madrid then put them out of Europe 4 times under Klopp (incl 2 finals). City/Madrid duo destroyed his legacy.

Said it before: history won’t reflect well on them. They like to harp on that this team ‘won everything there is to win’.

Yeah, once.

Great teams do it again and again.

They talk up their points totals and how close them and city have been and how they’re the only team who can compete with them…. And you still lost. On the wrong side of the margins.

Nearly won the league a lot
Nearly won four trophies
Highest points total for a team finishing 2n

Cool. Good for you. 1 title in 33 years. And it was behind closed doors.

Thumbs up

Still find the ludicrous "BEST TEAM IN HISTORY" hype about them last season highly amusing.
