It doesn't really matter when you stop to think about it.

Soon you, me, everyone on this forum will be dead...we're a speck of utter irrelevance in the universe.

And even the earth itself and eventually the universe will disppear.

So I don't see there's much actually to worry about because the final destination is the same for everyone and everything.

There will not be a corporate marketing/PR department who do not know the likely reaction to doing something like this after Bud Light.

That Nike and the FA have gone ahead anyway is as baffling as it is divisive, given the emotive meaning of a national shirt for many.

Always entertaining to see the shit storm though.

Just spoke to the PR people for the ghost of the patron Saint of England, to find out his feelings about this news. Tbe spokesman said he couldn’t find the precise word or phrase to express his annoyance at the development.

And quite right too

Harvey is being unfairly singled out, just like he has been all his life on account of the anti scouse bias that the rest of the country seem to have. All he has known in his life is prejudice and discrimination based on lies created by a society that just doesn’t “get them”

Well actually he’s from Surrey but you get my drift

Altering the flag of any nation is a bit odd really.

Shows you some of the idiots in the FA actually agreeing to sign it off.

what has this actually got to do with trans, gays, etc or anything that could be deemed "woke"

is it literally just because it's got purple in it?

Fashion and branding is completely irrelevant. We are talking about an International shirt, in which the players are representing their country.

I couldn't care less if there was anger over it before or not. I don't think a kit manufacturer should be playing around with a country's flag.
