With his lack of height, if he shaves the beard off I reckon uncle Andrew would be keen for a bit of that action.

It’s not a bad signing given the circumstances. He was very good for Brighton. Had a bad year with Chelsea, but so did 57 other players.

I'd like this to happen. Very good player. Versatile. Looks daft obviously.

Next to him even the bald/balding crew can maintain some small amount of self respect. On the plus side once Shaw is fit it might cement Maguire as fifth choice

Another case of terms agreed before an agreement with the club...

Despite the fact Chelsea will still be paying his wages...

Have any of the players that have left brighton for ludicrous fees actually done any good?

depends what you call a ludicrous fee. I'd say only caicedo and cucurella were way above market value (arguably), but chelsea were the buying club in both cases so that skews it a bit.

Ben white for what, £60m was it? He's been solid but maybe a bit overpriced.

Bargain compared to one H. Maguire though.

Brighton seem to buy to fit their system, which makes players look really good when it’s working, lifting them out and dropping them into a new style doesn’t really work.

Ferguson will be alright though I reckon.

Cucurella will work for us as he’s good on the ball and carrying it forward/supporting and overlapping the left side forward. Not as sure defensively tbh.

While Luke Shaw’s gone, we'll stick together
Hope that Maguire’s gone forever
Said I'll always be your friend
Took an oath, until Shaw comes back again
Now that it's raining more than ever
Know that we'll still have each other
You can stand under my Cucurella
You can stand under my Cucurella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh, eh
