Released one day into his ten week sentence.

That sort of hard time must've been really difficult for him, doubt he'll ever touch another drop.

He’s been released on bail pending his appeal, so hopefully he’ll go back inside eventually. Absolute scumbag, he’s hammered

Fingers crossed, doubt it though.

Love to see how bad he was driving, the policeman was ripping his door open and sounded proper £#%&!ed off so it must've been pretty bad.

Personally think the Magistrates screwed up when they said famous people like you should set examples and if you dont you are treated with bigegr deterents (or similar words). "In fact the opposite is true - someone in the public eye should expect a deterrent sentence when they flout the law."

Will be reduced on appeal imho

In that case he'll be in the slammer just for the international break which I guess is more preferable than watching Wales play Azerbaijan and Belarus

Oh I'd say so. Starting point of 12 weeks. 1/3 credit for guilty plea at 1st opportunity. Assuming he pleaded early should be 8 weeks. If he's got no previous that's probably balanced by associated bad driving.

The question then is why wasn't it suspended?
