Putting that aside. When was the last time an Italian team won the £#%&!ing thing? 14 years ago? Since then we’ve had 3 English teams win it, several all English finals etc.

Doesn’t make sense to me.

It’s based on performances this year across all European competitions. So we only have ourselves to blame. And Newcastle. Relying on Brighton and West Ham

You never know - City might complete another treble thereby allowing us to qualify via 5th place where we can get knocked out in the group stage again.

Yep, we're relying on West ham to beat Freiburg tomorrow night

Although Inter getting knocked out was unexpected so that can knock the Italians back a bit.

England will get the 5th CL spot eventually. City and scousers will unfortunately go far in their respective competitions. Villa should win the Conference as well to be honest.
