It is what it is - the best emergency loan option avaliable.

You're acting as if we've just given Ali Dia a contract.

Honestly I’d have stuck with Dalot and put Fernandez in gradually before wasting time and money on this bloke. Let Jurado, who we’re about to sell, stay and get some time too.

Can only assume ETH doesn't think he is ready if he was so keen to get another one in and let Fernandez to leave on loan himself.

He's decent technically. Not sure about his defending. No harm having a footballer around.

I remember the boiled piss when we missed out on him first time round

He’s been garbage when ever I’ve seen him play.

Rather we went with Dalot or the young kid tbh.

Has he got a pair of swinging tits?

If the answer is no, we're already ahead.

I think they put a buy back clause in to trick spurs into paying more.

I have a sneaky feeling I was one of them, so for that reason I’ll remove myself from the thread

Good loan signing tbf. Happy with this one (given the circumstances).

Definitely prefer him to Cucurella

Much more aggressive and energetic, getting up and down the pitch

It’s a weird one as he’s always impressed me whenever I watched him for Spurs or Sevilla when they beat us in the Europa semi final

It’s a temporary loan to deal with an injury situation in one particular position
I think for that circumstance it’s a decent option

It’s the other transfers that I find concerning.

Certainly wouldn't be playing him against Saka for example but then would you want Dalot there?

Get Amrabat & sort the midfield first, get big Rassie on the pitch & see how we go.
