‘Ole has got rid of some dead wood’ but the players that he let go probably would have scored us goals and won us games. We still have Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard in the squad ...because their wages aren’t as high as Sanchez and Lukaku’s. Makes you think whether it’s not actually Ole but Woodward getting the wage bill down.

Bring in a new manager and we’ll have the same issue when his half-arsed transfer budget leaves the club with another group of average players on high wages. It’s a trend that’s happened since Ferguson left ..or since Woodward.
I deffo think this was part of it. Every player moved on and not replaced is money for the owners as it isn't going back into the club.

Just a few days left to sign some players and save his job.

Cant wait to see him talking about how the squad is good enough, improving, busy few months, winter break etc etc after wolves beat us at OT.

That Wolves game is huge. I know one signing won't make everything OK but I'd they don't sign someone and lose that there will be a revolt. I don't think the club realise what could happen over the next few months.

You just know Woodward is so arrogant he thinks when stuff is leaked the timings are great.

He gave 3 examples of good January signings not including Louis Saha.. from the seasons that we did sign someone in January.

Why did he bring up Alexis when talking about this transfer window

We really are in trouble if we're hoping Alexis comes good next season

He brought it up as an example of a shit January signing, then caught on to himself and said he would actually prove people wrong, very tongue in cheek.

Probably why getting more than 3 players in the summer window is so important then...

At this rate we’ll be needing to rebuild a rebuild in 6 years time ffs.

Clubs run like a joke.

He didn't stand on the desk and pull his dick out to piss on a picture of Avram whilst signing spirit in the sky. Ergo, yes man.

He’s banging on about the PSG game again. Presumably because it’s one of the two occasions under his management we’ve come from losing positions to win a game.

Can’t quite fathom the naivety of waffles and sparky. He’s employed by the glazers ffs. If Sanchez reappears at this club - who’s at fault - ole or Woodward?

Exactly. If you were put in a job you were eminently unqualified for and given 10 x your current salary, the last thing you'd be doing is slagging off your employer.
