No arguments about the club - our mismanagement at every level is surely unprecedented. I blame Fergie and Gill for £#%&!ing off down the yellow brick road whistling about how good they both were but leaving an absolute car crash behind.

I've always been of the mind that if the club were stupid enough to offer him a new contract then he'd have been mad to turn it down.

And if he'd kept his head down and said nothing, apart from the odd interview to say he's working as hard as he can to get back to full fitness, then my ire would have been saved for Woodward.

As soon as he starts drawing attention to himself with the whole 'woe is me' crap then my sympathy ends.

And the fact remains he was offered this new contract when our present manager was just bedding down, which has to raise questions of who was actually the driving force behind it.
