Default Half this board would blame VDS for both of those goals

To be fair, I would for the first one.

Point being, people only seem to notice 'saveable' goals when they go in our net.

Vidic's equaliser vs Benfica, for instance, was a shocking piece of goalkeeping.

Everything is relative. Our keeper is not the best, but is better than most.

Good keeper but not in the top 4, was too fat. the correct 4 would all be able to compete today, fat nev wouldn't.

Neville is the best keeper i've ever seen, only put on weight towards the end of his career and was still unbelievable; pisses on Oggy anyway.

Would the other 4 be able to do a round on the bins at 6 in the morning though? Doubt it.

Pat jennings
Banks
schmeichel
and I'll let you squabble about the other one.

My point is we have a good 'keeper and that's all you can expect to have.

Peter Shilton won Forest the European Cup and the English title. Southall was top drawer. Schmeichel of course. Jennings is up there, as are Maier and Banks. Anyone else?

Top-drawer keepers not yet mentioned:

Clemence, Jean-Marie Pfaff, Zoff, van Breukelen, Renat Dassayev, Buffon, Kahn, Zenga, Bonetti, Schumacher, Casillas, Coupet...

Southall is the best goalkeeper in history in my opinion.

He was a good First Division keeper. If we're including the likes of him, you'd have an awfully long list: Steve Sutton, Erik Thorstvedt, Phil Parkes, Corrigan (!), Stefan Klos, Andoni Zubizaretta, Perruzi, etc.
