What have i missed?

Dippers have a £110m British transfer record bid for Caicedo accepted.
Klopp has to make a humiliating climbdown from his anti-big fees stance in announcing transfer.
Dippers fall over themselves predicting a league title.
Caicedo then turns them down even though he's desperate to leave.
Southampton now know the dippers have £110m to spend on Lavia.

Does that about cover it?

Fancy announcing it before it’s even gone through. I’m struggling to think of any prior transfer where a manager has spoken about a transfer before it’s wrapped up.

Honestly feels like the moment he left the curse was lifted. As time goes on I’m more and more convinced he was working in their best interests while here. We’ve had two great windows since his departure, and Liverpool seem to be going into free fall.

Wonderful.

Whisper it, but Caicedo at a big club would get a lot more scrutiny than he does atm vis-a-vis his enthusiastic tackling.

If we'd bought him he'd be getting sent off every few games. And without that latitude to go around fouling everyone, he's not gonna be anywhere near as effective a player.

Should do ok at Chelsea though.

absolutely amazing.

Even more amusing that they put themselves in this positions without ever ascertaining if the lad wanted the move
