You’d have to hope that the takeover discussions have also included a list of players who will be sold to boost the pot. We already know we’re limited to around 100 million regardless of who the owners are so I’d say the talk is on the cautious side before we actually sell anyone.

At a guess you’d hope we can bring in around 100 million and 200 million would be a reasonable enough spend to improve the squad.

We should buy one of those levers from Barca to start off with.

No we don't. The FFP assessment period is 3 years so we have no idea what we will be able to spend if we get new owners before the end of the transfer window.

not really, it rose by a very similar amount the day before, the price has been very up and down for quite a while. The daily trading volumes were in or around the average, if someone knew something important, they'd be a big uptick in the volumes traded.
