Any england team that doesn't include grealish isn't worth bothering with.

England do look to have quite a talented group of young players

People have been saying that for a while, though.

Possibly. I haven't paid any attention to the national team in years.

If you look at the England side that started the World Cup semi final in 2018, it's maybe only half the personnel that will start the first Euro's match this time around:

Adding in the likes of TAA, Rice, Bellingham, Sancho, Grealish, Mount, James, Bellingham, Foden, Saka with the flexibility to mix them about rather than simply have a complete reliance upon one player seems like a big upgrade in quality.

Goalkeeper aside (& that isn't that big a deal given France won the World Cup with Lloris in nets) we're relatively well stacked in all areas. Kane firing is probably the biggest thing, needs a Shearer in '96 sort of tournament.

Far more talented than the likes of Lingard, Young, Alli etc & some of them are making winning contributions to sides winning the league & CL.

Exactly! FFS - we actually have decent left backs now, in Shaw & Chilwell there's cover.

Young in a World Cup semi-final starting XI

Yup.

See my first post.

We have to get Foden and Grealish in.

Kane is a must and rightly so.

We must have a chance this year.

Will believe it when I see it, England still seem like classic quarter/semi finalist material to me.

Difficult, I hope Rashford is left out and allowed to recover tbh but its difficult to ignore the effectiveness that Shaw and Rashford can have down the left channel especially. Kane also needs runners off him which Rashford will do.

....................short sleeves keeper..........
Walker..........Stones.......Maguire......Shaw
...........................Henderson.............. .........
...................Bellingham......Foden.......... ....
Sancho.................Kane......................R ashford

This is what made Spain so effective. They kept their key connections from the club side. Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets etc..

If England have that anywhere its with Maguire, Shaw and Rashford on the left side of the pitch. You'd be stupid to break that up imo

England are absolutely laughing with creative players at the moment

Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets played as they were the best in their positions tbf

Rashford has his work cut out making this team. Especially the way he is playing.
