I think they both have roles to play but, as I said yesterday, do we really need to play both of them against a promoted team at home. DVB would have been a much better option IMHO.

We didn't. McTommers didn't come on until late, after Donneh did.

I’ve backed bedding in Beekers before now but if you can’t start him and Bruno at home to West Brom then when can you? Starting to smell a bit off

I agree entirely. Just don't think McTommers limited as he is has much responsibility for that shitshow.

Thought McTomo looked good when he came on, took a few more risks than usual including a lovely dummy just outside our box.

Well if we are doing Fletcher comparisons, we might very possibly have retained the CL if he had been able to play in Rome.

As much as the Cumberland Sausage is basically later stage prostate cancer to this forum, he is right on Fletcher.

Back then the midfield trio of Anderson, Fletcher and Carrick was a match for anyone.
