Wilshire and van Persie are the only 2 that would come close. I wouldn't have either of them ahead of our best XI players.

Ramsay is good but he wouldn't get into our, Chelsea's, City's or even Spurs/Dippers starting XI for a major game.

Diaby, Rosicky, Ramsey, Song, Wilshere, Arshavin

van Persie, Walcott, Chamberlain, Gervinho, Miyaichi

£#%&! me I'd say they have 4 players who would get anywhere near United, City and Chelsea's sides.
I think all those in bold would get a lookin at top 4 squads, its subjective so you wouldnt swap players but they are of a high standard, its the depth and that combination that is Arsenals problem IMHO.

I missed him, tbf it makes their squad look even worse if you include him.

Him and Bendtner are two of the worst strikers I've ever set eyes on in top level teams.

wenger organises his team well, very regimented in the way they play and a lot of the same all the time (no plan b, easy enough for the very best teams to counter), but his record in transfers is absolutely shocking, the amount he's blown on rubbish is shocking. his two big successes are henry (who he knew from coaching him before) and fabregas (a well-known talent nicked from barca). apart from that it's hard to think of a single really good buy he's made.
Yet the media shove their "Wenger's a talent spotting/transfer genius" down our throats all the time.

Recent big buys:

Gervinho £10.6 million
Koscielny £10 million
Chamberlain £12 million
Vermaelen £10 million
Arshavin £15 million
Nasri £15.8 million

Very mixed, and larger outlays than most would have you believe

Pires was a superb buy, to be fair.

£#%&!ing hell, I didn't realise they paid that for him Chamberlain looks expensive too, from League 1(?) to the PL is a big step up. Not seen Gervinho yet.

He's spent £18 million on Jeffers and Koscielny

We got Hernandez and our current captain for less than that.

Pretty conclusive.
