Yup.

Imagine winning the £#%&!ing thing, or even losing in the final/semis, then being back at work a week later *

*no idea what the time scale is between the final and league football restarting tbf.

World cup final is 18th... league starts back up 26th. One week later

all our key players will go deep into the competition as well. The Brazilians, Martinez, will all get to the quarters at the very least.

Going to the WC to get injured again?
Yep, rushed back half fit for the WC and then be out for the rest of the season.

He’s a brilliant CB and I can live with his brittleness…as long as our 3rd choice isn’t an absolute Prunier.

Could have been worse. Lindelof will be fine for now. An able deputy. Just pleased it isn’t a year long job for Varane.

The saving grace is that our fixtures until the WC are okay. But if he’s not back for Forest on Boxing Day I’ll be pissed off.

Give him a break, he stopped crying as soon as Dalot gave him a kiss on the cheek.

When fit he's the best center back in the league.
