Football Luton vs Burnley postponed

As ground won't be signed off in time.

Waited all these years to get back in the top flight and have to sit out the first weekend.

Apparently they couldn't just switch it to Turf Moor instead (presume because of the lack of notice).

Didn't the vermin play several games away from home at the start of the season a few years ago?

Also requested they are away at the start of this season.

Ridiculous this has been postponed really.

Luton vs Burnley, ffs.

Sounds like a late 90s Autoglass Trophy Final fixture.

Best league in the world, my arse.

And how great it was.

Better than watching some frankenstein's monster of a sportswashing franchise hoover up every trophy every season eh?

One of the best things ever to happen in sport.

Pity they couldn't build on it.

Leicester are a horrible bastard of a support though. Remember visits to Filbert Street back in the day .. worst of the Midland clubs imo .. they turned on Ranieri not long after he won them the league then turned on Rodgers after he won them the Cup ffs. Very satisfying to see them go down.

Yes, Luton / Burnley is a depressing thought given some of the historic clubs playing further down the leagues. Bournemouth, Luton, Fulham, Burnley .. some proper dull as dishwasher clubs floating around the league this year. Would put Sheffield United in there too (Wednesday always far more interesting club). Palace & Forest are alright.

It's crazy how they turned on Ranieri. He was the most important part of their success imo and they made out he was incidental.

Sacked 9 months after winning the title, having progressed top of their champions league group ffs

Deserve the fate awaiting them. Good bet to get relegated again this season .

I remember they had all of those clappy inflatable things they put out for every home match that season to generate some atmosphere. Why would you need that when you're challenging for a title ffs? (Apart from City obvs).
