Default The FC United Season 2016-17 Thread

So, Season 12 got underway today, starting with a 3-3 draw away at Chorley.

Jeez, these season openers seem to come round faster every year

Great weather to be watching football today, though

Scoreline masked a poor performance overall. FC are desperate for a creative attacking midfielder to take the pressure off Jerome.

Couple of big local derbies coming up earlydoors - Stockport at home next Friday and Salford at Moor Lane a week on Tuesday

Just got back from chorley it was an absolute cracking game proper non league football and it ended 3-3......we was winning 3-2 with 5 minutes to go when they had a penalty saved behind for a corner which they scored from

Cracking day out though.....nothing beats a good non league away trip

fylde 1 nil away win at telford. stockport game looked decent.

the attendances in the conference north today were fantastic. looking forward to going to a fylde home game with 20 other people soon, tbh.

You're too posh, you Cheshire £#%&!er.

No harm in scrotes, we've got plenty of our own.

Had some cracking games at Chorley.

Play off victories, last minute winners and 2-0 down to win 3-2.

'kinell, non league is some serious shit...

chorley have always been a big non-league club. have they ever been in the league?

my local team fylde have gone full time this season and will be moving into a brand new 6000 capacity stadium next week: http://www.mfsv.co.uk/

it seems ridiculous for a club that averaged 522 fans at home last season, but it's happening and it will be interesting to see where it ends up.

locally, fleetwood did the same thing a few years ago and they average about 2000 home fans in league one, but were starting from a much larger fan base.

might go to the fc v fylde game in a few weeks, but i said that last season and couldn't be arsed.

Knowing you are an expert on firearms makes this post a tad sinister tbh.
