You would imagine the glazers and commercial department would make sure he was on that plane, even if he was leaving a few weeks later.

Either it’s a genuine family issue, or ten hag doesn’t want him anywhere near his squad. Which would suggest he was a bit of problem with the dressing room split last season. Also suggests they’re fully backing ten hag and the football decisions despite commercial interests.

Whatever happens, I want it to be ten hag’s choice.
