Can understand the desire to play Van de Beek, but in which position? From the little we've seen, the position he seems to play in is currently occupied by our best player.

I think Van der Sar [or somebody] did say that his favourite position is as the number 6. Hopefully, that's true and would like to see him tried there, but can see why Ole has gone with Fred and The Scottish Player who formed a good partnership last year and will ensure we have a bit of energy and bite in that area, and cover for that defence.
