Aguero mouthing off to the Spanish press this weekend, says he won't rule out leaving this summer.

And De Bruyne too, said he could cope with a one year suspension from Europe but two years and he's probably off.

Poor City

Their owners, like PSG's did, are the type that will say "stay or you're in the reserves" and not sell. Unless the ban triggers some kinda sell clause, then they at a club that can make them clean the bogs for a few years if they want

Thumbs down

Been said so many times but how in £#%&!s name has he wasted his career at that dump? He would have walked into any Barca or Madrid side over the past decade, and Messi and Ronaldo aside would have been the first name on their team sheets.

£#%&!ing mercenary @#%&!.

Because, like so many at that club, he’s being paid an absolutely ludicrous amount of money off the books.

You keep saying but this is there any evidence of this?

Genuinely interested.

The circumstantial evidence is overwhelming. If they’re putzing around with phony sponsorships here and dodgy revenue streams there, imagine how much they’re really paying these players in off shore accounts.

As good as they’ve been the last few years I’m quite confident that literally none of the players they signed in the last 12 years ever dreamed of playing for Man £#%&!ing City. Guardiola is going to end up owning a Spanish club out of all this.

Mancini was.

Effectively paid double his supposed salary. Not a massive jump to think that they are paying off their star players to stay when they could be playing for a real 'big' clubs.

every player there and every single person in the coaching and boardroom had no idea the £#%&!ing place ever existed prior to 2009.

Again, sometimes the circumstantial evidence is so compelling and actual proper evidence isn’t really required. They cheat financially in everything they do. There was no actual evidence of fake sponsorships until there was, and it was arrogance and utter sloppiness that got them caught. What’s the likelihood of player salaries being the only aspect of FFP that they weren’t cheating on?

As i've said so many times on here, the evidence of the over inflated sponsors was there, right under everyone's noses for ages. All you had to do was look on City's website under their main 'commercial partners' section and google the company names. I think about 8 of their main sponsors were all based in Abu Dhabi with links to the Al-Narayan ruling family. And that's just some pleb sat at home with wikipedia and an internet connection. The fact that none of the authorities even raised an eyebrow until a German paper chucked the facts out just shows that it was wilfully ignored

Whatever the premium is to get a top player to choose that raggedy outfit over Real Madrid, Barcelona or even us, and give up their dreams is the difference they’re making up in a Cayman account without a shadow of a doubt.

Well think about it. We've had to pay players obscene amounts over the last few years, and that's just us loitering around 5/6th for a few years but still being one of the biggest sports clubs in the world.

How much do you think they had to pay as a club none of these players had ever heard of, who'd won nothing in over a quarter of a century, loitering around the bottom half of the table? How much do you think they were paying Nasri, Clichy, Toure and Adebayor to leave Arsenal as just a start? How much do you think they were paying Robinho?

Thats without getting into what Guardiola must be getting.

In fairness it did take someone breaking the law in order to get the actual evidence. Most individuals won’t do that and institutions can’t unless they want to spend the next ten years in court, have the whole thing overturned and pay millions in fines.
