Mic is often an issue with gaming headsets. They've come a long way though.

One idea is to get something that focuses on earphones (like proper audio headsets, or those somewhat hyped Steelseries cans) and add a modmic. Pretty dear though.

Missus hyperx mic is absolutely fine, but hers is wired. Wireless headset mics are not so great.

Not a gaming specific set but the Sennheiser HD650, open backed but still the king and going strong after 10 years. Miraculous that they've never been damaged. Usually then just use a separate mic if needs be.

Got some cheap RIG things that are ridiculously comfy and do the job perfectly. I actually prefer them to Bose QCs and Audio Technicas I have.
