Well we wouldn’t be; we’d be upping his future salary to make up the difference. Maybe we should ask him to defer part of it, that seems to be quite effective.

Today is the 1st of August…

Barca have activated another ‘lever’ for €100m, apparently, in the hope it will allow them to register their signings.

They are also after another CB, Inigo Martinez from Bilbao, I think, so are basically just doing whatever the £#%&! they like at this point.

£#%&! knows what’s happening with FDJ, but that puts him about 7th in the CM pecking order and 6th at CB £541,000 a week though..

The wages rumoured are a disgrace, the club needs to £#%&! this one off.
