Really disappointing end to the game

There’s clearly some positives
Both full backs I thought were good (Malacia will be a good signing)

Fred up until his heads gone moment at the end was good

Even City and Liverpool can struggle to break down this Atletico team but still our attacking players were really disappointing
Rashford and Martial showed flashes in the first half but 2nd half were poor
Bruno needs to clean up his game otherwise he’ll lose his spot
I’m not going to go in on just how awful Elanga was

We need a wide player who can beat a man consistently

Probably a good thing that the clear weaknesses in our squad have been exposed

We should have scored two ourselves. Martial and Maguire both missing sitters. Can’t miss those against a team like atleti.

Was the same in the CL at OT, when our chance came we missed (Elanga hitting Oblak in the face ) they bagged with pretty much their first attack.

If that was in Europe we'd have easily won 2/3-0

Good test that, Ty malazy is going to be some player ...

Pellistri did his ankle apparently.

Martial came off holding his hamstring

I’ve given martial half a chance based on his preseason (and the fact the parasites at the club won’t sign a CF so we are stuck with him ) If he can’t stay fit , he needs binning too.

First chance he’s had against proper opposition and he shit the bed

Did he?

Of course he £#%&!ing did. How typical of his United career. Another bluffer who needs £#%&!ing off out the club.

All jokes aside if Martial gets injured, and Ronaldo £#%&!s off, we have literally no striker options until January.

Sancho or Rashford get injured and Elanga is starting or worse, Van de Beek

We knew it was going to take time. This club has been allowed to fester so much for so long that it’s entirely possible ten Hag has walked into a 25 man squad three quarters of whom are simply not good enough and never will be. Elanga will probably never make it at the top level, but I’d be more concerned with players who have been bluffing their way through for years.

No idea whose idea it was to buy van de Beek, but it’s becoming clearer why no manager rated him and The Scottish Player is out of his depth at this level so he’s overcompensating with the tough guy shit. Bruno needs to sort himself out because if there’s anyone left who doesn’t agree that the contrast between his good and bad aspects are shockingly wide then I don’t know what they’re watching.

Watching the charity shield today we’re still miles behind.
