Default Martial is truly special

Don't wanna go all Rooney v Ronaldo but think he'll end up displacing Rashford sooner rather than later. Need both in same team long term.

Looking forward to seeing Martial, Lukaku and Rashford as a 3 tbh, Mkhi behind them and Pogba feeding them

He's being managed very well I must say. Same for Rashers now

Think he deserves a start after these two cameos but not sure who drops out

Rashford is just like Welbeck only not as good at finishing

Not pissing on his chips but both games he's come on against tired legs after Rashers ran em ragged. Awesome finishing though. Calmly picks his way through and places it.

If it ain't broke....

Again, trying a bit too hard. You used to do this sort of stuff effortlessly

If you compare Rashford's first half performance vs Martial's second half performance, it's easy to see who should be starting - it's Rashford.

In terms of the influence on our overall play, Rashford is a critical part of our attack. The ability to carry the ball at pace, retain possession, find teammates - he's exceptional.

Martial has looked the better finisher, but he's also come on twice when the opposition is tired and already beaten. That's a different proposition to playing against a fresh, organised defensive unit.

Great options and depth, and Martial will have a big part to play as the season goes on, but for the moment, Rashford is a guaranteed starter, for me.

Rashford has been very impressive in both games so far and very unlucky not to score last week...however he missed a big chance at 0-0 today although he was certainly more of a threat than Lukaku at that point

it was still 1-0 when Martial came on today, last week the game was over not so much today....Martial's confidence is very high so should maybe get a start next week ...but not out wide ...that has been ruining him, he needs to play through the middle....great options to have our attack looks far more potent than it has for a few years, pace power and skill....yessir

They're both as good or bad as each other. On their day both are unplayable. On an off day both can b extremely ineffective, run into dead ends and have shit shots.

Rashford's more consistent with his dribbling and martial with his finishing.
If they both mature and fulfil their potential it's gonna be incredible.
