Battling

Leicester were shit. Rashford is not a striker with this support. Love Mata but he offers nothing.

Yup.

Our plan, such as it is, appears to be to keep it tight, counter like madmen and win it on penalties.

MUFC, er, OK?

We just needed a win today, whatever it took. That we got a clean sheet as well is a huge bonus.

Confidence is low, half of them don’t want the ball and are hiding, easy pass every time, then hold your position and hide; not doing anything wrong, but achieving nothing. There were about 10 throw ins right in front of me and nobody other than James moved to try and find space or show for the ball.

Felt like we were taking an inordinate amount of time over throw-ins, freekicks, GK’s right through the game as well.. like they were wasting time don’t think they took one with any haste or rushed to get the ball back at any point, was really weird.

Lack of confidence and nobody who can actually do anything with the ball other than James. Rashford was anonymous till he went out wide at the end a bit. I'm done with Mata. And Pereira can £#%&! off too.

Pereira was a bit better when moved central. That might’ve been because Matic and Mata had £#%&!ed off though

Chong had a mare tbh couple of nice touches, but his passing

They’re all a way off being ready unfortunately , at least, Garner, Gomes, Greenwood and Chong all need 2 years football experience and time to fill out. We’re going to need a hell of a lot of patience

After all the bellyaching the reality is that we've closed the gap on City

Down to 2 points

Admittedly it could have been better but has it been that terrible for a team in transition or are people lacking a little patience and becoming overly fond of running round like chicken Little

And no Pogba in sight ....

Seriously though I hope Ole has realised that midfield two doesn’t work and both are stopped from playing their natural game.

Drop mata out of that lineup and play Matic (needs must I expect) and two of The Scottish Player, Pogba and Fred and we’ll see the best out of them because the balance will be right.
